Global Getaways are Here
Tl;dr: Alaska’s Atmos rewards program is offering to extend your summer with transpacific flights to six destinations from 50-70k Atmos points round-trip. Book soon for travel through March 2026.
If you have a stash of Bilt or Atmos points lying around, you’re in luck! Alaska just launched its latest Global Getaways sale — this time with a “summer isn’t over” theme to take you to warmer climes. This iteration’s deals are:
Manila, Philippines from 25k points each way
Bangkok, Thailand, from 30k points each way
Hong Kong, China, from 30k points each way
Sydney, Australia, from 35k points each way
Auckland, New Zealand, from 35k points each way
The Cook Islands, from 35k points each way
All fares are in economy, and you must book by November 11 for travel through March 30, 2026. Taxes and fees apply.
Crossing the Pacific for as few as 50k points round-trip is an excellent deal — and when I checked last night, I saw wide-open availability from my home airport, consistent with my past Global Getaways experience. Despite being listed as one-way fares, it’s usually easy to find matching return dates at the same low price.
These recurring award sales are a major reason Atmos is my main rewards focus. And the ability to transfer Bilt points to Atmos is why I think Bilt remains the most powerful transferable points currency out there.
If you recently received a welcome offer on an Atmos credit card, you could easily book one of these routes with points to spare. For example, with the recent Atmos Summit welcome offer, that would be enough to fly to Manila, Bangkok, or Hong Kong with a companion — not bad for a single sign-up bonus.
That’s the power of Atmos and a well-timed sign-up bonus. Welcome offers on Atmos cards have declined recently, but if you want to stay in the loop to know when the best offers come around, we cover that each Sunday on LazyPoints Weekly. Sign up for our newsletter here.
